Pope Francis – Memorial Coverage on ITV

Calm, particle based graphics kit for ITV’s coverage of the death of Pope Francis, along with memorial content. The visual identity was based around Pope Francis’ coat of arms, with sections of it lifting and floating away, in a smoke-like fashion, which ties into the ritual of black smoke being released to inform the public of the passing. The kit comprised of various looping backgrounds for housing stills, footage and live graphics, mcr holding screens for live coverage, a show title sequence, set dressing graphics and social stills.
